I was involved in a car accident that was not my fault. I sustained an injury and did not have health insurance, so I was going to be responsible for the cost of my treatment. Luckily for me I had April, who has such an extensive knowledge of the law. April was able to utilize the protections of my own insurance, to cover all of my treatment costs, reimburse me for everything that I had paid out of pocket, and even a very reasonable amount for pain and suffering. She even had to explain and educate my own claims adjuster on California law. April is truly amazing at what she does. Her knowledge of the law, paired with a high attention to detail, is what really sets April apart from other attorneys.
~ Former Client

April has always loved to help people, and she began working for personal injury attorneys when she was in high school. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with an emphasis in law and society from the University of California, Davis.

After graduating, April moved to Southern California and attended Western State University College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate and was a merit scholarship recipient. April was also a member of the Business Law Association and the Criminal Law Association.

Over the years, April has gained invaluable experience as to the best methods of tailoring her strategy and communication to meet each of her client’s needs. And having been through several motor vehicle accidents herself, April knows how complicated it can be to deal with the insurance companies, get car repairs and medical assistance, etc.

She feels compassion for each and every one of her clients and loves walking them through the steps to get them a settlement and the help they need.

For this reason, April goes to bat for all her clients in physical and mental anguish, and fights to recover the compensation that they deserve. She believes the role of a personal injury attorney is to help people when they need it most and to fight for their legal rights every step of the way.

When not in the office, April enjoys spending time with her husband, Tryg, and their children, Jax and Ayla, exploring beautiful Northern California with their labradoodle Stella.  She also enjoys hiking, yoga, golf and snowboarding.”

I was in a terrible auto accident, but the attorneys at Reiner, Slaughter & Frankel were very caring and listened to what I had to say. They kept me updated on what I needed to do and what was happening. I always felt they were working their very best for me. They were very successful in my case.
